RSU 26 in Orono is looking for an organized and self-motivated District Data Analyst to work with the superintendent, administrators, teachers and instructional coaches to analyze district data to help better understand and improve educational outcomes. Data include standardized tests, demographic and enrollment data, behavioral databases, responses to surveys and other data as it becomes available.
Candidates must have the ability to work with databases in multiple formats (e.g. CSV, Excel, SQL), merge data from multiple sources, perform quality control checks and crosstab (i.e. pivot table) analyses, and plot graphs from data that communicate patterns and trends to non-technical audiences.
This is an independent, contracted service for approximately 125 hours per semester.
Pay range is $25 - $40 per hour depending on experience.
